Orfit HP 5-points mask and the Orfit SBRT compression belt investigated in 2 posters at ESTRO 2016

Two posters in which Orfit products have been investigated were presented at ESTRO 2016. The first poster (EP-1785) by Damodara Kumaran compared setup errors and comfort levels of an Orfit High Precision 5-points thermoplastic mask and a BrainLAB immobilization system. Overall, the Orfit HP 5 points mask and BrainLAB system were comparable in terms of setup errors, margins and comfort levels.

The second poster (EP-2097) describes the reproducibility of the Orfit SBRT compression belt. Research performed by Bouwhuis S. indicated that the patient friendly setting of the compression belt is reproducible and safe to correctly deliver the dose in stereotactic radiotherapy of the liver.
