Study: Surface Guided Ring Gantry Radiotherapy in DIBH for Breast Cancer Patient

January 6, 2025 – We are happy to share that the AIO Solution 3.0 was used for patient positioning in a clinical study conducted at the University of Lund, Sweden. The research investigated surface-guided radiotherapy (SGRT) combined with tomotherapy for deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) breast cancer treatments. This study assessed the feasibility and dosimetric advantages of this advanced approach, showcasing the critical role of precise patient positioning in improving treatment outcomes.
