We are happy to share that The AIO Solution 3.0 was used for patient positioning in a clinical study conducted at the University of Lund, Sweden. The research investigated surface-guided radiotherapy (SGRT) combined with tomotherapy for deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) breast cancer treatments.

Low-dose radiation therapy (LDRT) has been shown to have a strong anti-inflammatory effect within the body and has been used to treat painful musculoskeletal disorders around the world for decades. Recently, there has been a surging interest in the United States to use LDRT for the treatment of osteoarthritis and other benign indications.

We sat down with Anna Schneider, a radiation therapist at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Anna has been a therapist for about 11 years now and has been using Orfit solutions at Aurora BayCare since about 2017. The center has 2 Varian-Truebeam linear accelerators with integrated imaging and they use The AIO Solution 3.0 with both of them.
